FR Nouvel envol : Danse Balsa Marni devient le D FESTIVAL.
Tout en restant fidèle à son objectif d’origine de laisser libre expression à la jeune création chorégraphique bruxelloise, le festival prend un nouvel envol et un nouveau nom : le D FESTIVAL. Plus court, plus dense, plus « transfrontalier », un nom qui ouvre l’horizon des possibilités pour les années à venir.
Cette « première » édition sera placée sous les signes de la fidélité, de l’intimité, des graines de renouvellement : trois chorégraphes « fidèles » du festival présenteront leurs créations : Fré Werbrouck, Lise Vachon et Ivan Fatjo en duo avec Estelle Delcambre. Hors scène, deux performances viendront surprendre le public…
L’ouverture passera aussi par celle du public habituel aux enfants, invités à embarquer dans l’aventure avec un spectacle et des ateliers danse/arts plastiques.

NL Danse Balsa Marni ondergaat een metamorfose en wordt het D FESTIVAL.
Het festival blijft trouw aan haar doelstelling : jonge, Brusselse choreografen in alle vrijheid een podium bieden, maar wel onder een nieuwe naam : het D FESTIVAL. Korter, bondiger, “grensoverschrijdender”, een naam die de horizonten verruimt en die nieuwe kansen schept voor volgende edities.
Deze “eerste” editie staat in het teken van trouw, intimiteit en vernieuwing. Drie “vaste waarden” van het festival tonen hun werk : choreografen Fré Werbrouck, Lise Vachon en Ivan Fatjo die een duo vormt met Estelle Delcambre. Ook naast het podium wordt het publiek getrakteerd op twee voorstellingen.
De kinderen worden uitgenodigd zelf op avontuur te trekken (in een voorstelling en een workshop dans/beeldende kunsten.)

EN Danse Balsa Marni undergoes a metamorphosis and will become the D FESTIVAL.
The festival still remains true to its aim of offering freedom of expression to young choreographers in Brussels but does this under a new name : the D FESTIVAL. Shorter, more concise, more cross-border. The new name broadens horizons and creates new opportunities for future editions.
This “first” edition is all about loyalty, intimacy and innovation : three “loyal” choreographers show their works : Fré Werbrouck, Lise Vachon and Ivan Fatjo who forms a duo with Estelle Delcambre. In addition to this, the public will be treated to two off stage performances.
Children are invited to their own adventure in a performance and a workshop on dance and the visual arts.
